I drew this as a submission to the MuggleNet's unofficial fan art book project. I had a lot of ideas, but when they requested more art from The Chamber of Secrets, it made it easier to lock in on one.
I wasn't sure if I would use a lot of spot blacks or leave the line art open at first. I liked how my Inception illustration came out, so I decided to leave it open. I'm really happy with how this turned out.

He said her outfit consisted of a neon hoodie, a pastel floral-print short dress, and Converse shoes. He liked the look of her face and hair, but decided to switch out the shoes and belt for boots and an owl pendant. He also suggested a pose that looked like she was waiting for someone.
After getting the green light on my sketch, I began work on the final piece.
